worse than awful - dont deserve even zero stars ! dont touch this company with a bargepole. their suctomer se4rvice is totally awful. and their customer service co-ordinator is the worst. total unfriendly , unhelpful and just ignores your communication for months

ADT don't offer technical support on there products unless you have a contract with them. My customer purchased a new alarm bell box for their home and they won't offer technical support for a simple question. What a poor service.

The only premium thing is the price: ADT were the most expensive people to quote for fitting an alarm, fire and carbon monoxide detection system in my cottage but I chose them as I trusted the brand. How wrong I was, the system was not properly fitted and therefore incremental holes had to be drilled in my cottage to avoid the fit taking longer than had been allocated. I continued to struggle with unreliability and high charges for 10 years and finally ended my service contract. Of course they won't disconnect it from the phone line without more expense even though they missed so many services in the 10 years. In flexible, unhelpful and completely overpriced. Avoid at all costs.

ADT are inept and need to be avoided. Took 7 months (C-19 didn't help) for an engineer to fix the problem with our newly installed alarm. The problems and hassle getting that done pale into insignificance when it comes to the customer disservice dept. Well done if you can find someone at ADT who both tries AND is actually helpful....9 months on and i can't find anyone. The biggest laugh is that you've got to waste a pile more time putting any complaint an email...have zip confidence that it will be replied to any time soon. What. A. Nightmare.

Really poor experience so far virtually every interaction with them goes through their call centre which is one of the worst i ever encountered. From day one their manner has been unprofessional, unfriendly, abrupt and generally not caring about their customers and giving the impression that they just want to 'fob' you off and get you off the line. Generally their engineers have been friendly and knowledgeable, but the experience of dealing with the company in general has been awful, the worst i have experienced in years. We pay a premium for ADT and therefore one would expect to receive a good service. There are certainly other providers that I have experience with who are cheaper and hell of lot more professional and I now regret our decision of opting for ADT. Initially when the alarm was fitted we had problems getting it to work correctly and had to make multiple calls. It would seem that the sensors were incorrectly labelled. These things happen I guess and it was sorted in the end. At present we are having windows installed and have received conflicting advice from their sales consultant (who was knowledgable, friendly and actually the principal reason we joined ADT) and their call centre who makes us feel that they just want to profiteer from us! Anyhow, for anyone else who is considering installing an ADT alarm with CCTV a few things to consider. The CCTV operates through a third party and is not ADT. Very possibly cheaper to go to another provider. It certainly doesn't operate through their application as you would expect if you have watched their promotional videos. The alarms seems good, but not really that different to others on the market and not obvious at all if any better. Their customer service in our case has been appalling and we regret the expensive decision we made to join them.
