This branch refuses to accept returns for faulty items!! According to the customer service helpline, branches have to log the number of returns on their books so some will resort to lame tactics to make themselves look good. My item developed an intermittent fault and they argued it had fixed itself! My video evidence wasn't good enough for them but they advised me to forward it to the manufacturer and let them deal with it. Take your business elsewhere and let this branch get repurposed into additional customer toilets.

I experienced racial prejudice in this store. Whilst returning an electronic item, they refused to believe I had actually purchased it despite showing the receipt. Then by examining a brand new item, they refused to accept it back. I made a comment if I was a white person the story would be different, Sadly its the world we are living in at the moment

Went to Argos today to buy a watch for my mum. Unfortunately they didn't have it in stock. Tia the sales person didn't hesitate to ring Chorley Argos and reserve it for me. What a lovely change to find someone so accomodating and very pleasant. Thank you Tia
