About Us

Set up by Peter Dawes in 1982, Dawes Security has become one of the longest established intruder alarm installers in South Manchester, designing and installing domestic and commercial Intruder, Fire, CCTV and Door Access Systems.

With a commitment to providing practical, high quality installations, we have built up an extensive client portfolio, which in addition to several thousand domestic clients, includes major hospitals, commercial call centres, schools, churches and large scale industrial units. Our engineers are trained and skilled in installing the latest technology to high standards and are experts in concealed wiring, working with the minimum fuss and disruption. They ensure premises are left neat and tidy and to the client’s satisfaction.

We continually explore new technologies and developments to meet the security demands of our customers.  Clients have peace of mind knowing that we are accredited by UKAS and the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board – approved by National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC).  All our installations meet current British and European Standards and we have full insurance cover.
